Our Story
The First Generation
In 1971, Jesse and Darline Tharp founded Fox Pools & Spas in the basement of their Hendersonville, TN home. A lot has changed since then, but the two original tenets remain the same. The determination of the Tharps to treat their customers like family and to only sell high-quality products is what made the business flourish back in the 70’s and what has kept it growing since then.
The Second Generation
Service was a key factor for the Tharps and led to their great success. They have always serviced what they sell. Their focus and our continued focus remains to sell only high-quality products. Two great examples are our Fox vinyl liner in-ground pools and the Big Green Eggs. Darline and Jesse raised their two children in the pool business. They grew up learning the business values their parents believed in. Their daughter, Lisa Ezell and son Jay Tharp head the business today and Fox Pools & Spas has fulfilled the backyard dreams of thousands of families in the greater Nashville area.
